Everyone likes to talk about themselves. Artists and rich people just feel more entitled because they’re asked more often. If you’re an artist who’s not up your own ass I think you’re doing it wrong. You’ve gotta be to devote all of your time, money and energy to yourself. I thin sometimes the self-deprecating thing is just so someone can agree with so you can explain why they’re wrong. I’m up my own ass but I’m up other people’s too.
